Find the simplicity of the ways to get A practical and comfortable house to live. The interior designer Mun Casadesús of the Casadesús Disseny studio He faced the renovation of this apartment for this purpose, located in an old building in the center of Barcelona. With a rectangular plan, it was necessary to gain a sense of depth so that the meters were visually multiplied. In the process wooden roof beams were restored -a original element that gives personality to the spaces- for its height and for the beauty of the vaults.
A diaphanous environment, through which natural light circulates without obstacles, concentrates the common rooms. From here you access the bedrooms and the bathroom, which maintain greater privacy. Between the living room and the dining room, a brick wall, original of the construction, marks the transition of spaces. In the case of the kitchen, we opted for a Tailor-made functional solution: a double-sided half-height module. In line with the proposal of simplicity materials and chromatic ranges were unified in a whole in perfect harmony. The serenity that is perceived is based on the dark oak parquet in combination with white, sand colors and pastel tones.
The rest area maintains the same line. In the rooms it is the colors and richness of textiles that emphasize the presence of furniture. Only the bathroom distances itself from the predominant style in the house. Here, Mun Casadesús resorted to the contrast between white and pieces in an ebony wood-like finish. As a whole, when traveling through this house you feel the fluidity between spaces, They fit perfectly with each other.
This apartment is rented seasonally. More information on the website www.mhapartments.comAdvertising - Read on below A decoration with nostalgic spirit
