Joshua Tree House

Its owner, Lindsay Hollinger, is a renowned artist and designer who lives in Joshua Tree. The house, known as #ThatDesertHouse, and decorated by Lindsay herself, it is a wonder of air boho chic distributed in three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining room. Not to mention the wonderful terrace from where you can contemplate the hypnotic desert landscape or, at night, the stars.

In addition, for one week a year, Lindsay invites creative souls to stay completely free in the home, as part of their personal project to support artists. The rest of mortals will have to settle for renting it on Airbnb, but I don't think that means any impediment.

We were so used to seeing subway tile dashboards, that this blue design with stars has made us fall in love.

If you want to give a different look to your kitchen, do not hesitate, dare to combine blue, white and wood. The latter will help you provide the necessary warmth to the environment.

The butane orange of this impressive velvet sofa, combines with the shades of the paintings on the wall reminiscent of a sky, perhaps inspired by the Californian climate.

Being a house in the middle of the desert, all environments connect directly with the outside. In this way, from the living room we pass to a covered porch, and from the porch, to the ground!

The hall shares space with the living room. We love the way to store totally different objects in each hole: from logs to boxes or books.

Already in itself, it was a lovely corner to read after the meal, but by adding Lindsay's paintings the magic has tripled.

Do you see the wall of your bedroom somewhat bland? Look what a beautiful and minimalist idea to give it life. Just don't forget to play with textiles. Mix colors and textures, and you will be sure.
