Mestizo Architecture Workshop In an effort to preserve the foundation of volcanic stone, the extension was designed respecting the original construction axes.
This was achieved using a mixed structural system in which perimeter masonry loading walls were occupied, embedding the structural steel beams that respect the original axes. In the interior intersections, steel columns were placed that are received by the running masonry shoes, adapted to withstand the punctual loads.

Mestizo Architecture Workshop The materials focus on stone textures, mud and wood, on a neutral base of white tones and a hammer-colored metal structure, as a way of adding contrast.
